1. Convert your exsisting TV set, this is done by plugging in a digital reciever box into the back of the TV set or
2. Take the choice to buy a new digital TV which will let you recieve digital TV through an aerial (Freeveiw), if it is available in your area.

If you share an aerial with other households, ie. Apartment, then you may have a communal system. If so, this will need to be adapted to receive digital television.

Whether you need a new TV aerial is hard to predict. Generally, if you get good analogue picture at the moment you will probably be ok after switch over.

If you have more than 1 TV set in your home, you will need to make sure that every set in your home that you want to watch TV broadcasts can recieve a digital signal.

Always use a RDI-LB registered installer for your TV aerial installation.
They all carry cards and have no problem with you asking to see them.

The Registered Digital Installers Licensing Body (RDI-LB) is the UK's only official body to register licensed digital aerial and TV systems installers. The scheme is backed by the Government and requires every member to become qualified and undergo important checks.
